December 2025

FROM COMMANDERY No. 2
Sir Knights,
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and families! The holiday festivities continue for the month of December. December has been considered the month of charitable giving, volunteering, and acts of kindness.
As every Knight Templar unconditionally knows, charitable work is the foundation that connects us to the higher purpose within ourselves. Additionally, the Knights Templar continue to demonstrate countless examples of acts of service to others. I would like to sincerely thank you all again for striving to fulfill our mission by displaying acts of charity, whenever able, such as feeding the hungry, offering shelter to those in need, and protecting the innocent and the weak.
As a courtesy reminder, our next monthly officer practice is December 8th at 7pm in preparation for our upcoming December Commandery Conclave on December 13th at 10 am.
Our Annual 2025 Christmas Observance is also on December 13th from 8am – 9am in the clubroom on the 3rd floor. This is a public event. Friends and family are welcome to join us. Breakfast meals and beverages will be provided.
Sir Knights, as we wrap up 2025, thank you for your support and contributions to the Commandery this year. It has been my distinct honor and pleasure sharing my journey with each of you every day!
Jesse Solis-Jacques
Commander

FROM CHAPTER No. 3
Greetings Companions,
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and are now looking forward to Christmas. I can't believe that the year is just about over. I believe we had a great year and got a lot accomplished:
-
Our first "Big Event" was our Installation of Officers. We had a great time and Tony's Deli fed us well.
-
We started the year owing the Temple a large sum of money, but with your hard work and a generous contribution from an anonymous member, we took care of that.
-
We also started a program to sell York Rite Jackets and Polo Shirts, and thanks to you, we raised over $300.
-
In February, we started planning the "First Annual Jamaica Night".
-
In March, some of you traveled to Woodland to participate in the "Most Excellent Master and Royal Arch Mason" degrees.
-
In May, we went to San Ramon for the Grand Sessions, and on May 19, "our own"Joseph Dongo was installed as Grand Commander and Joe Wallach as Grand Sentinel.
-
In June, we hosted the "Commandery Orders" here at the Temple, where many of us participated.
-
On August 9th, we were back in Woodland for a "3 Way Reception Breakfast" in Tiki Shirts, which was full of fun and fellowship.
-
September 20th was the start of the "Annual Pilgrimage into York Rite" in Alameda, and we welcomed 5 new Companions and Sir Knights.
-
October 10th was our First Annual Jamaica Night and Silent Auction, which was a great success; we raised over $1600.
We will finish it all off at our Annual Installation of Officers, on January 10th, where we will welcome our new leaders for 2026.
It Has Been My Honor To Serve As Your High Priest For 2025
